The present study was conducted with the aim of the impact of Sternberg's three-dimensional intelligence on the level of marital compatibility. The descriptive research method was correlation type. The statistical population of the research was all couples in Tehran in 2022. According to Morgan's table, the research sample was 384 married men and women. The sampling method was chosen voluntarily. Research tools were Graham B. Spanier's marital compatibility Questionnaire and Grigorenko and Sternberg's Successful Intelligence Questionnaire. The data analysis method was also determined by regression analysis. The findings of the research showed that three analytical intelligences, creative intelligences, and practical intelligences from Sternberg's point of view can have an impact on the compatibility of couples. Meanwhile, the influence of creative intelligence is greater than other intelligences. It can be concluded that intelligence as an important factor can play an important role in the marital compatibility of couples.

Background: Marriage is a legal pact between a man and a woman for participating in a social life together which can play an important role in dealing with difficulties. Objectives: This study was carried out to investigate the relationship between marital satisfaction and compatibility with diabetes in patients with type 2 diabetes. Patients and Methods: The study method was descriptive-correctional. The study sample included 160 diabetic patients (103 females and 57 males) who were randomly selected. The instruments used were Enrich marital satisfaction questionnaire and the questionnaire of compatibility with diabetes. In addition, the data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and analysis of variance by SPSS. Results: The result of the study revealed a significant correlation (P = 0. 006) between marital satisfaction and compatibility with diabetes in women with type 2 diabetes (r = 0. 26). However, this correlation was not significant in men with diabetes. Also, a significant relationship existed between the dimensions of compatibility with diabetes and marital satisfaction in both men and women with diabetes. Conclusions: marital satisfaction affects compatibility with diabetes in women. Therefore, it might be possible to increase compatibility with diabetes in them by offering specialized interventions as family and couples therapies and giving consultations.

Objectives: The aim of current study was the evaluation and comparison of compatibility and marital satisfaction between handicapped couples and healthy ones.Methods: In this study, 50 handicapped couples and 50 healthy couples were examined with Enrich’s marital satisfaction questionnaire and Bell’s adjustment questionnaire. The data were analyzed, using SPSS 15, correlation tests and ANOVA.Results: The results showed that there was no significant difference between handicapped and healthy couples in compatibility and marital satisfaction.Discussion: It is concluded that people who were handicapped before their marriage and those who decided to marry them were suitably aware of the issue, therefore accepting a handicapped person was not so hard. What is important in marital compatibility is accepting a partner.

Abstract: This study sought to answer the question of what are the causes of marital infidelity in the Iranian family. To Answer the Research Question, Qualitative Meta-Synthesis (QMS) Method Were Used. Then, 78 Scientific Papers Which Were Considered marital Infidelity in Iran were identified and were Analyzed. The results showed that the factors of infidelity in Iran can be classified into 9 main categories, including: 1. Social factors, 2. Psychological factors, 3. Cultural factors, 4. Family factors, 5. Personal factors, 6. Relational factors, 7. Economic factors, 8. Media factors, 9. Contextual factors. Each of the main Categories is divided into Different Subcategories. The Social Factors of infidelity were including “Infidelity Opportunities”, “Friend groups” and “Environmental Conditions”. Psychological Factors of Infidelity Were Including “Personality Type”, “Attachment Styles”, and their “Love Schema”. Cultural Factors have Pointed to “Change in Beliefs and values” and “the level of Religious Education” of people. The Family Factors were including “Inappropriate Marriage”, “Family Conflict” and “the Kind of Family Background of people”. The Personal Factors are “Sexual Dissatisfaction”, “Emotional Dissatisfaction”, “the Feeling of Loneliness”, “the Spouse Unavailability”, “Weakness in Controlling Spouse”, “Domestic Violence”, “Revenge of the Spouse” and “the Role of the Third Person in the Relationship”. The Economic factors are including “the Economic Status of the person”, “the Role of Economic Problems”, “the motivation of entering into infidelity under the Pretext of Job promotion”. The media Factors Were Emphasized on “weakening Iranian Values through Social Media Networks and Foreign Satellite Channels” and “Producing of New Needs by Media”. Finally, the Contextual Factors were including the Role of “Age” and “Gender” in the Infidelity. Findings showed that Infidelity Occurred in the group of men and youth in Iran, more than other Social Groups.

Introduction: The purpose was determination of relation between sexual functionality and marital compatibility in married women. Having satisfactory sexual relation providing satisfaction for both sides of family, has an important role in feelings of prosperity and success, and durability of family life. Due to some cultural limitations and obstacles available in our society, in most cases, not only couples do not refer to consultation centers and experts, but also avoid discussion on it with each other and this avoidance sometimes cause deep family conflicts which leads to emotional separations or divorces while sexual satisfaction and marital satisfaction has significant effects on couple compatibility.Material and Methods: 200 married women referring to Tehran psychology and psychiatry institute with age range of 18-50 year were selected by available sampling method. The required data was obtained through Rosen Female sex functionality inventory (FSFI) (2000) and Spanier marital compatibility questionnaire (1976). The two mentioned tests have high validity and reliability. Obtained data were analyzed by step-by-step regression and correlation statistical tests.Findings: there was meaningful relation between sexual activity and marital compatibility in women. Sexual desire and sexual satisfaction determined 30% of marital compatibility variance.Conclusion: considering the results that show sexual functionality plays role in prediction of marital compatibility, it seems that attention to treatment of sexual disorders and obtain of correct information and education related to it leads to improvement of women's sexual satisfaction and finally continuance of family life and marital satisfaction.

Background and Aim: The purpose of the present study was to explain the role of sexual satisfaction, intimacy, commitment and marital compatibility in marital stability with emphasis on couples with children. Methods: In terms of the purpose of the present research, and in terms of the method, it is one of the descriptive researches of correlation with the application of structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the research was the couples of Shiraz city in the first half of 2023, from which 250 couples (500 people in total) were selected as samples. The research tools were Adams and Jones marital Commitment Questionnaire (1997), marital Intimacy Scale (1983), Spanier marital compatibility Questionnaire (1976) and Sexual Satisfaction Subscale from Enrich marital Satisfaction Questionnaire (1989). Data analysis was performed using spss-27 and Amos-26 software, respectively, by applying Pearson's correlation coefficient, multivariate regression and maximum likelihood, taking into account the maximum error level of 5% (P<0.05). Results: The findings of the research showed that marital compatibility (0.39) covered marital satisfaction (0.77), two-person solidarity (0.59), two-person agreement (0.80) and expression of affection (0.76); marital intimacy (0.22), sexual satisfaction (0.16) and marital commitment (0.23) covering commitment to spouse (0.64), commitment to marriage (0.79) and feeling of commitment (0.78) affect marital stability (P<0.05). According to the findings, the fit indices showed favorable values, which indicated the approval of the developed model. Conclusion: Based on the findings; Sexual satisfaction, intimacy, commitment, and marital compatibility have a significant effect on marital stability, which, as a result, overshadows the desired functioning of the family, followed by parenting and raising the next generation; Therefore, it is suggested to the experts in the field of psychology and family and marriage counseling, as well as the supervisors and officials of this field, to take into account the effectiveness of their plans at the micro level of the family and at the macro level of the society and adjust the treatment solutions according to these two areas
